I-20 Shipping Options

HACC offers two options to students to receive their acceptance packet including the I-20 document.  HACC will send the packet to you by airmail free of charge, which will take 4-6 weeks for overseas mail.  All packets mailed within the United States will be paid for by HACC.  International express mail services are available at your own expense.  HACC uses an express mail service - eshipglobal- to coordinate the mailing.  Please complete the following steps to request this service:

1.  Visit the eShipGlobal website. It is best to view with Internet Explorer & Mozilla Firefox browsers.

2.  Complete the registration form.  You will be required to create your own user name and passport in order to create an account.  Be sure to have the following items ready:

  • Mailing Address
  • Email Address
  • Telephone number

You will receive an email within 30 minutes after registering requesting that you activate your account.  This is required for you to begin using your account!

3.  Prepare your shipping label.  Select "Receive a Package from Universities," then "Pennsylvania" from the map of the United States, next "Harrisburg Area Community College" and finally "Center for Global Education."  
This will ensure your shipping label will be received by our office. Once you get to this step, you will need to have your mailing address, phone number                                                                                           and email address.  You do NOT need a HACC ID number to submit your request.  Please just enter a "0" for your HACC ID.  At the end of the screen,                        you should select "ship/quote."  You will receive a quote and have the option to choose your carrier - FEDEX, UPS, or DHL.  You will also need to select your method of payment at this time.  

4.  You will receive an email confirming your order has been received by eShipGlobal.  This email will provide you with detailed information about your shipment (i.e. payment amount, tracking number, mailing address, etc.).  HACC will also receive a copy of this email at the same time as you, so there is no need to forward us the information.
