Help For Learners in Need

Learner in Crisis

  • Are you or another learner in crisis while on campus?
  • A “crisis” is defined as a situation in or another Learner is a potential danger to yourself or others.
  • Please contact security first.
    1. Call your appropriate campus security number.
    2. Use the Hawk Response app.
    3. Send someone to get security.
  • The safety of a person in crisis takes precedence, and our security personnel are trained in handling emergency situations.
  • However, if the learner is not in immediate danger, consider more discreet ways to get that person the appropriate help.
