Oct. 3, 2007
The work of contemporary craftsmen who have reinvented the traditional design of the box will be featured in the second installment of HACC's new Radius Showcase Series. HACC will kick-off the event with an open house from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4. All items on display will be available for sale. Radius is located on the ground floor of the State Museum of Pennsylvania, 300 North Third Street.

See how a Shaker box is made from start to finish when Radius craftsman Steve Strouse demonstrates his craft from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2. The event is free and open to the public.

The Radius Showcase Series will continue throughout the coming year, featuring topics such as contemporary quilts and glass blowing.
