Lancaster Campus noncredit sessions offer popular pastimes

HACC's Lancaster Campus, continues to offer a wide range of noncredit sessions to enrich your personal life during the cooler months ahead.

All of the sessions, unless noted otherwise, are held at the Lancaster Campus, located at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.

  • Arts/Crafts/Music
    Quick and Easy Quillow - Learn to make a small quilt that folds up into a pillow in this three-session course. Students must provide supplies and sewing machine. Held 7-9 p.m., Thursdays, Nov. 1-15. Cost is $60.

    Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People - Learn all the chords needed to play any pop song. One session scheduled for 10 a.m.-1p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3. Cost is $49.

    PMC Beyond the Basics - Explore intermediate and advanced PMC projects. Previous experienced required. Held 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Nov. 6-27. Cost is $98, plus supplies and firing and tumbling fee.

    Watercolor Beginner/Intermediate - One-on-one critiquing and instruction will be a large part of each class. Offered 6-9 p.m., Tuesdays, Nov. 6 - Dec. 18. Cost is $135.

    Pennsylvania Redware Pottery - Introduction to ceramic hand building techniques through studio experience. Scheduled 6-9 p.m., Thursdays, Nov. 8-29. Cost is $90, plus materials fee.

    PMC: Silver Ring - Create your own unique silver ring in Precious Metal Clay. Previous PMC experience required for this one session offered from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. The cost is $45, plus supplies and firing and tumbling fee.

  • Food & Spirits
    Knowing Knives - Know what knives to use to slice, dice, chop and cut. Offered 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Nov. 17. Cost is $35.

    Cook Breakfast Like a Pro - Homemade hash browns, hollandaise sauce, breakfast wraps, crepes, omelets pancakes with fruit compote and more. Held 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 15. Cost is $50.
