THEATRE: Someone Who'll Watch Over Me
- Based on a true story. Three civilian hostages share a cell in a Middle East prison compound. Cut off from the outside world and fearful of their uncertain futures, these three men find strength in their friendship as they learn to live in captivity. A drama by Frank McGuinness, directed by Marnie Brennan. Performed by HACC Theatreworks in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center Studio Theatre, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17. - Grammy Award-winning African American female a cappella ensemble with deep roots in the sacred music of the black church - spirituals, hymns, gospel - as well as jazz and blues. 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30.
