Vendors sought for Family Fall Festival at HACC's Lancaster Campus

May 1, 2007
Craft and flea market vendors, food vendors, non-profit agencies and other community members have a unique, low-cost opportunity to participate in the Family Fall Festival at the Lancaster Campus of HACC in September.

Vendors are being sought for the Family Fall Festival to be held in the main parking lot of the HACC Campus at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike, Saturday, Sept. 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.

"This is the second year we've opened our doors to the community for this day of free family fun. A real highlight is favorite children's musician-storyteller Steven Courtney performing," said Jennifer Alleman, counselor for the Lancaster Campus.

There will be other children's activities including crafts, games, face painting and more. A chicken barbeque is planned along with participating food vendors.

"The festival helps acquaint the community with the Lancaster Campus of HACC. It offers community members a venue from which to promote their goods or organizations. It also raises money for scholarship funds," said Alleman.

Scholarships funds are created from fees collected from the vendors. Craft and flea market vendors pay only $35 for a booth space the size of two parking spaces. HACC students and student organizations pay $20. Community and non-profit organizations pay $10. Vendors must provide their own tables.

More information on the event, advertising and sponsorship opportunities, and registration as a vendor may be obtained by calling Jennifer Alleman at 717-358-2988 or 717-358-2973.
