Nov. 6, 2008
GAP – HACC-Lancaster is bringing college to your neighborhood with evening classes at the new Family Center of Gap starting in January 2009.
A free information session will be offered at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, for those want to learn more about admissions, financial aid and enrolling in these HACC classes.
In addition, during the center’s open house on Saturday, Dec. 13, HACC-Lancaster staff will be on hand between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at a “one-stop” event. Students will have the opportunity to complete the admissions application, take placement tests, learn about financial aid and payment options, meet with a counselor for advising and register for the four spring classes being offered at the center.
These classes are open to the public and are part of HACC’s ongoing commitment to bring college-level learning opportunities to our local communities. Area residents will be able to take advantage of four 3-credit courses:
  • English 101 (English Composition) – 6-9:05 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 28-May 15
  • Math 051 (Intermediate Algebra) – 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 27-May 15
  • Psychology 101 (General Psychology) – 6-9:05 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 27-May 15
