HACC hosts open house May 12 at FCCTC

Event to showcase mechatronics, additional programs offered by the college in Franklin County

CHAMBERSBURG – Find a career pathway, get started on a college degree or bone up on your skills – the opportunities are many with the programs offered by HACC at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center (FCCTC).
The college will host an open house from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at the FCCTC, Loop Road, Chambersburg.
Potential students are invited to attend to find out more about HACC’s career programs in mechatronics, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), technology studies or business. The classes are offered at the FCCTC through the HACC-Gettysburg Campus.
At the open house, attendees will be able to:
  • Take tours of the state-of-the-art classrooms
  • Find out about transfer and career options
  • Talk to faculty and current students about HACC
  • Learn about programs that can get you into a career
  • Find out what classes are offered, how to register for classes, and how to apply for financial aid and internships
In addition, a short presentation on HVAC will be given at 4:15 p.m., and a faculty presentation on mechatronics and the electrical program will be given at 6 p.m.
