Session held at Lebanon Campus
Jan. 19, 2010
LEBANON – Small business owners and entrepreneurs who have started or are looking to start their own business are invited to HACC’s Lebanon Campus for the first Power Up business session.
The first in a series, Power Up takes place 6:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 25, at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, 735 Cumberland St. It is hosted by HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
“We decided to launch a series of sessions that offer practical business guidance and the chance to connect with other business owners at a time that is convenient and not too lengthy,” said Marjorie Kirchner, business counselor for the institute at the Lebanon Campus. “All entrepreneurs are welcome.”
Kimberly Kreider-Umble, president and CEO, Lebanon Family Health Services will lead the Jan. 25 session on the topic, “Celebrate Your Employees.” She will offer unique ways to honor your employees throughout the year.
The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies provides access to a support system developed specifically to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses. The focus is on counseling and educational programs that serve entrepreneurs from the initial idea stage through the first three years of operation.
Attendees can reserve a seat for the free Power Up by contacting HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at 1-800-ABC-HACC (800-222-4222), ext. 1311. For more information about IES in Lebanon, contact Kirchner at mhkirchn@hacc.edu.
