'Cooking with the Calamari Sisters' serves up laughs and food at Live at Rose Lehrman

HARRISBURG — Comedic sisters Carmela and Delphine Calamari bring their Italian-American musical cooking creation “Cooking with the Calamari Sisters – Mangia Italiano!” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, to the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. A free pasta and cannoli party will follow.
Part sibling rivalry, part singing and dancing, the sisters invite audiences to “Come On a My House” for their public access cable cooking show. The sisters sing and dance to such beloved Italian favorites as “Volare,” “Que Sera Sera,” “That’s Amore,” and of course, “Mambo Italiano!” As old rivalries resurface, the ladies will be slinging insults along with the salami.
The post-show event includes a free pasta and cannoli party featuring penne pasta from Bricco and mini cannolis from Ciao! Bakery.
