HARRISBURG – Area residents interested in an engineering or technology career are invited to find out more about one or several opportunities offered at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
Hands-on demonstrations, an opportunity to meet the faculty and tours of HACC’s state-of-the-art training labs will be offered during the event from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Midtown 2, at 1500 N. Third St., Harrisburg.
Half-hour sessions that focus on specific engineering or technology degree programs will be offered throughout the event. Among the many choices available are architectural technology, civil technology, electronic engineering technology, engineering and architecture (both transfer degrees), geographic information systems, mechanical engineering technology, nanofabrication manufacturing technology and technology studies.
Participants also can take advantage of a “Get It Started” open house to attend workshops on college success and financial aid. The open house runs simultaneously to the career event, also in Midtown 2.
