HACC to Unveil Newly Renovated Student Center and Open
Time Capsule from 1967
 
HARRISBURG, Pa. -
 
WHO:
  • John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D., president of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College
  • Benjamin Byler, Student Government Association president at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus
  • Rich Cardamone, executive director of business affairs at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus
WHAT: Ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Bruce E. Cooper Student Center and opening of a 1967 time capsule
WHEN: Aug. 30, 2017, at 11:15 a.m.
WHERE: HACC’s Harrisburg Campus, Bruce E. Cooper Student Center, main entrance
COVERAGE: Sygielski will formally open the newly renovated student center. The 50-year old center underwent a 19-month, $12 million renovation.
 
He will also open a time capsule from 1967 that was accessed during the renovations.
 
Media will have the opportunity to tour the facility from 10:30-11 a.m.
