Graphic Artist Brings Illustrated Ideas to HACC Art Space
Jan. 3, 2018
LANCASTER, Pa. – “Design Snacks,” an exhibit of graphic design illustrations by Alex George, will be on display Jan. 16-Feb. 21, 2018, at the Art Space at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

An artist reception will be held Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Art Space. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

In his artist statement, George writes, “I am a hoarder of ideas. Idea development is absolutely the most important and rewarding aspect of design in my opinion. Some people enjoy finishing work and some enjoy the struggle to get the best ideas. I enjoy the struggle.”

George taught graphic design for almost 10 years at the Art Institute of York before becoming an adjunct art instructor at HACC in the fall of 2017. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in Mansfield.
