  • Work with lists
  • Analyze data

Meet Zachary: Student Seeking New Career

After graduating from a four-year school in 2007, Zachary Persing, a computer networking student, was diagnosed with a kidney disease that led to a transplant. After surgery, he said he was “not in a good place” and it was difficult for him to “get back into a normal life.” The experience has since made him stronger and taught him not to take life for granted.

Zachary enrolled at HACC when he decided it was time to pursue a new career. Since Zachary works a full-time job, he knew it would be difficult “to juggle a lot of classes.” HACC’s program provided him the mix of online and in-person classes that was ideal for him.
