Nursing External Transfer - Transferring Prior Nursing Clinical Courses Into HACC
If you have nursing courses to transfer from another school, please review the Nursing External Transfer Procedure (PDF) and complete the form linked within the document.
To be considered for external transfer, you must:
- Have applied to HACC and received an ID.
- Submitted official transcripts to record@hacc.edu and received evaluation confirmation.
- Note: Transcript evaluation will not be considered with courses in progress.
- Completed at least ONE nursing course at the transfer institution within the past two years.
- Maintained a 2.5 GPA with no C-, D, F, or W in any nursing course.
- External Transfer Deadlines
Acceptance is restricted by clinical space availability:- Dec. 1 for a January start decision
- April 1 for a May start decision
- July 1 for a August start decision
You are required to attend a nursing information session before applying for clinicals. Find dates and register for a session on the RN page.
To begin the transfer process and complete the external transfer form, schedule an appointment with Counseling and Advising - after you have completed all your admission steps, submitted transcripts, etc.
