Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging
At HACC, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where everyone feels welcome and valued. To further this commitment, we have established a number of initiatives that promote inclusivity and belonging.
- Men of Color Initiative
This initiative focuses on supporting the success of men historically underrepresented in higher education. Through mentoring programs and tailored support services, we aim to create an environment where men of color can thrive academically and personally. - Diversity Innovation Grants
These grants support student and employee-led projects promoting campus diversity and inclusion. From classroom toolkits to community workshops, these initiatives foster a culture of belonging at HACC. - Speaker Series
In partnership with the Student Engagement Department, we host speakers and events that spark dialogue around diversity and inclusion. These presentations and discussions enrich our culture and engage the broader community in important conversations.
Rose Lehrman Arts Center
Visit our art gallery and see student and community exhibitions. Catch a flick. Or come for a live performance in one of our two theatre spaces. The Rose Lehrman Arts Center provides venues for entertainment, learning and cultural experiences to HACC students and beyond.
Student Activities
You will be surprised at all that HACC has to offer. You can join Phi Theta Kappa to unlock scholarships, prestigious recognition and a supportive network. You can engage with the Student Government Association (SGA) for advocacy, leadership and student representation opportunities. You can find new friends in our Affinity Groups, which foster inclusive spaces, dialogue and empowerment. We will even help you with voter registration assistance, ensuring every voice is heard. If you can imagine it, you can make it happen at HACC.
