Lebanon, PA – Job seekers looking for part-time or seasonal work are invited to a job fair 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, in the multi-purpose room of the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, 735 Cumberland St. A snow date of Feb. 24 is scheduled.
The Lebanon Campus is partnering with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R), PA CareerLink of Lebanon County and County of Lebanon Transit (COLT) for the event, which is open to both HACC students and local residents.
The HE&R properties represented at the job fair include Hersheypark, The Hotel Hershey, Hershey Lodge, Hershey Golf Collection, including Hershey Country Club, and Hershey Links, and Hershey Nursery. Each property will provide information about the types of jobs available. Those seeking jobs can apply and submit their resume prior to the job fair online at HersheyJobs.com.
Part-time opportunities are available for people ages 16 and older and include positions in food and beverage, culinary, lifeguarding, golf operations and ground maintenance. Depending on requirements of the job, recruiters are looking to hire employees with minimal experience; however some positions do have specific age or experience requirements.
Representatives from the PA CareerLink of Lebanon County, a one-stop shop that connects employers and job seekers in the most efficient manner possible, will offer resume, employment and training services to interested applicants during the Job Fair.
COLT, the public transportation alternative for Lebanon County residents, will have staff available to assist applicants with information on transit to Hershey from Lebanon and also provide information about discounted bus tickets for HACC students.
Information regarding Lebanon Campus programs and classes that can fit into working students’ schedules also will be available. HACC staff members can answer questions about the admission process.
