April 28, 2010
Harrisburg, PA – If starting on the path to a college degree is in your future, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, can help you get there – right in your own backyard in Juniata and Mifflin counties.
Or, if you are home for the summer from college and want to get ahead with required courses, HACC’s local programs may be the right choice for you.
HACC’s expanded services to residents in the two counties will continue this summer with four entry level courses being offered, including “Modern Culture & the Arts” and “Weather & Climate” in Juniata County and “College Algebra” and “English Composition II” in Mifflin County. Students can register now for classes that start June 21 and 22.
To find out more about HACC’s convenient, affordable programs, plan to attend an information session at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the COMPASS Building, 31 S. Dorcas St., Lewistown.
