GETTYSBURG – Two instructors at the HACC-Gettysburg Campus have been recognized for leadership and service in their work with student organizations.
Kathleen Pratt, instructor in management and marketing, was named Pennsylvania Advisor of the Year by Phi Beta Lambda international business education association at the state leadership conference in Gettysburg.
Wendy Brubaker, adjunct instructor in English, received an international Paragon Award for new advisors from Phi Theta Kappa international honorary society for two-year colleges.
Pratt was nominated by students in the HACC-Gettysburg Campus chapter for her ability “to see the bigger picture of what our local chapter can become” and to guide the club “into making quality decisions for the betterment of our current membership and the membership that is yet to come.”
Brubaker was nominated by the students of Phi Theta Kappa and Shannon Harvey, campus executive dean, in recognition of her work as co-advisor of the campus chapter.
