Obtaining a Transcript FAQs

How do I obtain an unofficial transcript?

You may view and/or print your unofficial transcript online. Once logged into myHACC, go to the Student Tab and click on the View/Print My Unofficial Transcript link.

How do I obtain an official transcript?

  1. Log into myHACC.hacc.edu.
  2. Select Student Tab.
  3. Under the HACCWeb (Self-Service) channel, select Request a Printed/Official Transcript.
  4. Follow the on screen prompts to order your official transcript(s):
  • Select Destination Type (e.g. organization or school, yourself, or another individual)
  • Select Product Type (e.g. pdf eTranscript, paper mailed, or paper pick-up)
  • Enter Order Details and Payment information
  • Review and Confirm to submit your order
  • Receive confirmation and receipt by email     
Note: Processing and delivery time varies depending upon the delivery method you choose.

eTranscript - This service is currently unavailable.

Mail - anticipate 1 - 3 business days for processing and standard delivery

  • Official, paper copy is mailed by HACC to the address provided 
  • Attachments may be included, but must be attached to and submitted with a Transcript Request Form to your campus Welcome Center.

Pick-up - You may visit your campus Welcome Center, submit a paper request form, then pay. You will be able to pick up your transcript from the Office of the Registrar in within the same day. If you use the online option, your request may take up to 48 hours for processing.

  • Pick up between the hours of Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in TL 105
  • Must present photo identification

How do I log in to myHACC if I do not know my user name?

Your User Name is your HACCid number, which begins with the letter "H". This number was assigned and communicated to you upon admission to HACC. If you do not know your HACCid number, please call your campus Welcome Center at 1-800-ABC-HACC.

How do I log in to myHACC if I do not know my password?

Go to www.hacc.edu. At the very bottom of the homepage, click on the link for HACCWeb and then Enter Secure Area. Enter your userid and then click "Forgot PIN?" (PIN is the same as your password). You will be prompted to answer a security question(s).

If you need further assistance, please contact your Campus Welcome Center at 1-800-ABC-HACC.

Alumni: If you have issues with your login, please enter your ID number or username and click "Forgot Password?" Follow instructions on the screen to reset your password. If you do not know your username or HACC ID number, or are having other issues, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 717-780-2373.

How do I obtain my HACC id number?

HACC converted to the HACCid number in 2006. If you do not know your HACCid number, you may call the Office of the Registrar or your campus Welcome Center to obtain it. You may also go directly to the Parchment Ordering page and create an account to make your request.

 

What is the cost?

$6 per request. We accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Note: There is an additional charge for transcripts being mailed via FedEx ($25 domestic, $40 international, these fees are subject to change).

How can I pay?

You must pay when submitting your request. Ordering online requires that you pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). If you can only pay by check, money order, or cash, then you must complete a paper request form and submit it to your campus Welcome Center for processing and you will not have the option of sending an eTranscript.

Can I place an order now to be held for pending grades/graduation?

Yes, but you should NOT place your order before the target term is underway. When you place your order, select "Hold for Grades" or "Hold for Degree". If you need to hold for both grades and degree, select "Hold for Degree".

Note: If you are a dual enrollment student, DO NOT order your transcript before all of your final grades are viewable on your unofficial transcript.

Can I upload and attach another document with my request?

If your transcript must be mailed with an attached document, you will need to submit your request to your Campus Welcome Center or the Office of the Registrar directly.

Can I obtain a transcript if I have a hold on my account?

No. HACC will not release a transcript when a hold exists. The obligation must be resolved and the hold expired before the transcript will be released.

Can I pick up my transcript the same day that I request it?

Yes. You must complete and submit a Transcript Special Request Form to your Campus Welcome Center, whereby following payment you will proceed to the Office of the Registrar, Ted Lick Administration Building, Room 105, to pick up your order. Please come prepared with photo identification. If you use the online option, your request may take up to 48 hours for processing.

May someone else pick up my transcript?

Yes. When ordering your transcript, enter the name of the authorized person in the "Recipient Name" field. The person being authorized to pick up your transcript must present photo identification.

Can I track my transcript order?

Yes. You may track your order through myHACC.

How long will it take to receive my transcript?

Although processing time varies, the following generally applies:

Pick-up - If you need to pick up your transcript within the next 48 business hours, DO NOT make your request online. You may visit your campus Welcome Center, submit a paper request form, then pay. You will be able to pick up your transcript from the Office of the Registrar within the same day. If you use the online option, your request may take up to 48 hours for processing.

Note: Processing time varies and is longest at the end of the term and nearing graduation and/or scholarship deadlines. Photo identification is required to pick up a transcript. Pick up must occur between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday at Office of the Registrar, Ted Lick Administration Building, Room 105.
