Welcome to HACC! Our mission with HACC's orientation programs is to help you smoothly transition into college life. The New Student Orientation team will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed and navigate college.
New Student Orientation is a mandatory and important part of your educational journey. After activating your myHACC account and HAWKMail, you will receive an email from YOUR Onboarding Coach with instructions on your next steps to enrollment.
Before YOUR Level Up
To get the most out of your Level Up, you’ll need to complete a few tasks in advance:
- Check your HAWKMail account daily for updates from HACC, including an important email from YOUR Onboarding Coach with information about how to complete your new student onboarding course and placement. Check for placement exemptions.
- Submit documentation of high school completion or its equivalent, along with your transcripts. These documents should be sent to admissionsrecords@hacc.edu, and must be submitted before you can receive financial aid.
- Make sure you have a plan to pay for school. Or, learn more about HACC payment plan options.
- Set up your account in Navigate to review your new student checklist.
- Check out our tips and tricks or watch our Zoom video tutorials if you are attending New Student Orientation online.
- Check your Zoom account settings from your myHACC portal and ensure you are joining a remote Level Up from a computer or laptop (not a tablet or phone).
