At HACC, it’s our goal to support you throughout YOUR educational journey. Whether you had an IEP in high school or not, you may be eligible for accommodations. In order to determine a student’s eligible services, we begin the intake process by meeting to review documentation and discuss the student’s needs. Services are provided based on the student’s disability documentation, functional limitations and an intake process. The intake process is a collaborative effort with the student to assess needs through an appointment.
To begin the process please complete our referral form. Student referrals, either self-referral or referral by a caring employee for ADA or Title IX Pregnancy and Parenting can be done by completing this form.

We encourage students to reach out to SAS as soon as you have applied to HACC. However, students are welcome to contact SAS at any point throughout their HACC journey.
After you submit YOUR information, it can take up to two or more weeks to review the information and schedule an appointment.
At times, SAS may need to request additional information from students, medical providers and faculty to make an assessment about a requested accommodation.
Delays in beginning the registration process, submitting supporting documentation or responding to requests for additional information or meetings will delay accommodations and services.
