When will our high school expect information about College in the High School (CHS) courses? | Participating high schools will be prompted to complete a Course Confirmation Form prior to the start of each semester in which they intend to offer CHS classes. HACC will email participating high schools a few months before the start of classes to request the necessary information. |

What if I have a teacher interested in becoming course qualified to teach a CHS course at my high school? | Please complete the HACC College in the High School (CHS) New Instructor/Course Inquiry & Preliminary Screening Form. If you have any additional questions, please email CHSandDE@hacc.edu. |

When can students register and pay for dual enrollment courses? | Students taking dual enrollment courses follow the same registration, drop/add/withdraw and tuition deadlines as otherHACC students. These dates are posted on hacc.edu and can be found in myHACC portal. Students are encouraged to plan ahead and register and pay for their courses early, as seats can fill up. |
How do I know if my student is eligible to take a HACC course? Do they need placement testing? | Course descriptions include prerequisite information for a course and can be found here. Students do not necessarily have to take placement testing. Please view information about multiple measures here and ensure information is on file to confirm eligibility for the course. Some HACC courses do not have prerequisites, meaningany admitted HACC student can take the course. |

Students must register for courses via MyHACC account. Follow the directions in your registration emails to ensure that you have completed the necessary steps. |
When is payment due for my HACC courses? |
Students taking HACC classes as dual enrollment follow the same tuition deadlines as all HACC students. This information is posted to www.hacc.edu and the MyHACC portal. Students taking HACC classes as College in the High School will be given tuition deadlines in their registration email. Payment must be made by the established deadline to secure a seat in the class and to earn college credit. |
How do I find my required books? | Take a look at your schedule and use that information to find your course requirements at our Bookstore website. |
The semester is starting and I’m taking a HACC online course. What can I do to prepare? | Check out the Jump Start YOUR Success webpage for tips. Log in to Brightspace D2L (via myHACC) on your first day of class and get started! Please continue to log in regularly to meet course attendance requirements and deadlines for the course. |
I want to continue taking HACC classes after I graduate from high school? | That’s great! Students must change their major from dual enrollment to their chosen HACC major after they register for their last semester of dual enrollment classes. Here is a step-by-step guide with information. |
How do I request an official transcript from HACC? | You can request a transcript of your permanent academic record. There is a $6 fee per official transcript. |
