    Join Student Involvement in recognition of Arab Heritage Month on Wednesday, April 14, from noon- 1 p.m. Professor Evelyn Alsultany, leading expert on the history of representations of Arabs and Muslims in the U.S. media, will provide a brief overview of the stereotypes Hollywood has produced about Arabs and Muslims over the last 100 years. She will focus on how Trump’s Muslim Travel Ban surprisingly inspired Hollywood to create an array of non-stereotypical Muslim characters for the first time. All are welcome.
