YORK – HACC’s York Campus offers trade and technology programs that can prepare students for entry-level jobs in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and electrical technology.
A free open house about trade and technology programs and the kinds of jobs available is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, in the William F. Goodling Center at the York Campus, 2010 Pennsylvania Ave.
Guests will be able to tour the labs, meet with faculty and learn about programs and accelerated study options. By enrolling in the accelerated HVAC program for the fall semester, students will receive the hands-on, practical skills needed for an entry-level position by December 2012. For electrical technology, an accelerated program would begin in January for the spring 2013 semester.
Those who attend the open house also will learn about HACC’s admission process, tuition and financial aid as well as scholarship opportunities, flexible scheduling options, student life and campus activities at HACC's York Campus.
No registration is necessary.
Students now can register for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 20. For more information, call the local campus at 717-718-0328.
