HACC Celebrates Graduates in Commencement Ceremony - Ricky Bumbaugh of Gettysburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Approximately 300 students walked across the stage to receive their associate degrees, certificates or diplomas during HACC’s Commencement held Dec. 14, 2014, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center. They were among the more than 900 students who completed their associate degrees, certificates or diplomas during the fall 2014 term.
 
Among the graduates were:

Ricky Bumbaugh, of Gettysburg, received a diploma in PC software. Bumbaugh is currently searching for a job in his field.




Steven Cabrera, of Lebanon, received an associate degree in business management. Cabrera plans to transfer to Millersville University for a bachelor’s degree in business management.




Brad Durkin, of New Freedom, received an associate degree in history. Durkin is seeking a job as a museum curator.




Jason Eck, of York Haven, received an associate degree in electrical technology. Eck is seeking a job in his field.




Winfred Fox, of Lancaster, received an associate degree in nursing. Fox plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Eastern Mennonite University.




Binar Aziz Sayed, of Mechanicsburg, received an associate degree in nursing. Sayed plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Sayed is Kurdish and originally from northern Iraq. She has been in the U.S. for about 20 years.



Amanda Topper, of Hanover, received a diploma in phlebotomy. Topper plans to graduate in the spring with an associate degree in general studies, and may pursue a nursing degree at HACC. She currently works for the Red Cross.



Gabriel Williams, of Harrisburg, received an associate degree in theater. He plans to pursue a career as a voice actor.
