HACC is 'Takin' It to the Streets' to Make It Easy for Students to Apply
June 16, 2014

Harrisburg, Pa. - Looking to give prospective students a taste of college life, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is taking its show on the road.

As part of its ‘Takin’ It to the Streets’ campaign, HACC announces a series of local “tour stops,” at public places, festivals and events that are fun and open to the community. Each stop allows prospective students to connect with a HACC recruiter, find out how to get started in a particular program or career path, learn about student life and apply for admission. HACC staff will be on hand to answer questions about enrollment, financial aid and degree plans.

“We recognize it may be hard to take time to visit our campuses, so we want to make it easier for people to learn about us. By going into the communities, individuals of all ages have an opportunity to see what HACC is all about – with no pressure. In addition to giving away prizes, some locations will even have our unmistakable, multicolored HACC van onsite – so you can’t miss us,” said John J. "SKI" Sygielski, Ed.D., HACC’s president.

HACC will be at the following locations throughout Central Pennsylvania in the summer months. For more information, please visit www.hacc.edu/gohacc.
