Edward R. Norford Craftsman Scholarship Endowment will provide support to eligible part-time, full-time students.

HARRISBURG, Pa. – A new scholarship for students enrolled in programs at HACC’s Midtown Trade and Technology Center has been established with funds given to the HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to raise private contributions in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
 
The Edward R. Norford Craftsman Scholarship Endowment will provide financial assistance to eligible part-time and full-time students enrolled in the following programs:
  • Electrical technology
  • Home and building remodeling
  • Technologies studies
  • Welding
The funds were donated by the Edward R. Norford Charitable Foundation.

The HACC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 1985 to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. In fiscal year 2013-14 alone, the HACC Foundation contributed close to $2.2 million to the College in scholarships, special programs and facilities and provided financial assistance to 1,345 students.
