The following states require licensure to work as an auctioneer.
ALABAMA
To become a licensed auctioneer, residents must submit an application, complete an auction school, have two endorsements and pay a mandatory $200 fee. This state allows reciprocity. Auctioneer business owners must hold an auctioneer license.

Alabama requires a privilege license for the sale of goods if the seller is anyone other than the owner. The privilege license requires an annual pay not to exceed $250.

To become a licensed auctioneer in Georgia, applicants for auctioneer license must be at least 18 years of age, must have a high school diploma from an accredited high school or GED certificate and must have graduated from an auctioneer school approved by the Commission. Upon receipt of a completed application, which includes the application fee and fee for the Auctioneer Recovery Fund, the applicant will be made eligible for the Georgia Auctioneer Laws & Rules Exam, which is administered by PSI. VERMONT

VIRGINIA

CALIFORNIA
There is no auctioneer license requirement in California. However, California does mandate that auctioneers and auction companies must have a bond filed with the state of at least $20,000. The California Department of Insurance maintains a list of current companies that can assist you in obtaining a bond.

Estate tag sales or auctions will require a sellers permit to be issued by the Board of Equalization. To obtain the permit, you must fill out an application and pay a fee. Failure to do so could result in fines.
Online Auctions
If through online auction houses you list your merchandise to sell, seek bids, accept a bid from the highest bidder and transfer the merchandise to the purchaser, you are generally considered the retailer in your transactions. This is true whether you receive the funds or have another party, such as PayPal, collect the funds on your behalf. Companies that host such transactions are not themselves considered retailers and are therefore not subject to the requirement.

HACC’s Municipal Police Academy is certified in Pennsylvania through the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission (MPOETC). The requirements for massage therapist licensing vary by state. Other states may require additional training, such as CPR certification or completing a first aid class. Upon completing education, prospective massage therapists take their state’s exam to get licensed. There are no national certification requirements for medical assistant; however, many states require some type of nationally recognized credential for employment. Initial Licensure
Upon graduation from HACC’s Associate in Science degree in nursing, you are eligible to obtain a license by examination in the Commonwealthof Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing (PASBON) requires:
- You have received our Board-approved Associate in Science degree in nursing
- You have passed the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination) examination
- You have met all additional requirements for licensure (clearances, mandated reporter training, etc).
- You apply to the PASBON for licensure.
- You obtain verification from HACC’s Nursing Department that you completed all the nursing degree program requirements.
Once your application has been reviewed by the PASBON, you are notified of your eligibility to test, and you are sent an Authorization to Test (ATT). You then schedule a time to take the NCLEX-RN examination. Once the PASBON receives notification that you have passed the NCLEX-RN licensure examination, you will be granted licensure.
Additionally, you may choose to apply for initial licensure in another U.S. state or territory. If you are interested in this process, please contact the director of programs at your home campus. The director will work with you to start the process. All necessary documentation for licensure is ultimately sent to the Nursing Department chair for completion.
Reciprocity of Licensure
If you have obtained initial licensure in any U.S. state or territory and are now seeking to obtain licensure in another U.S. State or territory or international licensure, you may do so by contacting the Board of Nursing within the U.S. state you wish to pursue reciprocity of licensure.
All 50 states require nursing home administrators to be licensed, although requirements vary by state. There is no state certification requirement for personal trainers. However, many employers may require certification from a recognized national organization, such as:

No industry certification is required to become a physician’s office assistant. However, according to National Healthcare Association (NHA), 75% of employers require or encourage certification.
